If Ben is so bent out of shape about his extra $1.5M, he should add it to his tax bill. Just make out his check to the IRS for an extra $1.5M. Problem solved.
And there is nothing keeping him from writing a check to the federal government to be applied to the national debt -- or to the charity of his choice to do some direct good instead of passing threough the treasury.
Or being suckered by another J-Lo.
