Nazi uranium

This is the craziest story from NPR's Morning Edition.  Apparently, after WWII, the American forces gathered up a bunch of uranium cubes the Nazis had buried in a field.  There were 659 cubes in total and almost all of these are unaccounted for.  The experts in the story think they're sitting in a very heavy crate somewhere in a government facility or college sub-annex.

Joe Biden is senile

Biden is a millisecond from telling us he used to wear an onion on his belt which was the style at the time.

Ace: "Joe Biden Says "This is the solemn word of Joe Biden," Then Lies Like a Rug for Three Minutes."
"This is the God's truth," Biden had said as he told the story. "My word as a Biden."

Except almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect. Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened.

Biden visited Kunar province in 2008 as a U.S. senator, not as vice president. The service member who performed the celebrated rescue that Biden described was a 20-year-old Army specialist, not a much older Navy captain. And that soldier, Kyle J. White, never had a Silver Star, or any other medal, pinned on him by Biden. At a White House ceremony six years after Biden’s visit, White stood at attention as President Barack Obama placed a Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest award for valor, around his neck.

The upshot: In the space of three minutes, Biden got the time period, the location, the heroic act, the type of medal, the military branch and the rank of the recipient wrong, as well as his own role in the ceremony.
Joe is only going to get older and the spotlight more intense.  This will not end well for him.  Poor guy could have retired in peace.

Of course, the boat should be composted

ABC News: "Sailing team to fly 2 crew to US to bring Thunberg boat back."  "The sailing team that's taking climate activist Greta Thunberg from England to the United States aboard a high-tech racing yacht says it will fly two crew across the Atlantic to bring the boat back, but that the carbon emissions from their flights will be compensated for."  Oh, for sure, for sure.

What rules? We didn't see any rules!

You know...the ones you guys invented for your political enemies.  Those rules.  Hot Air: "NYT Publisher Warns: Right-Wingers Are Combing Through Our Staff’s Social Media Posts For Embarrassing Material."

I dislike Joe Biden

Have you noticed?  Anyway, gaze upon your nominee who will drop out after the South Carolina primary:

What did Biden say today?

Fox News: "Biden tells voters 'don't vote for me' if they're concerned about his age."  But wait!  There's more:
"I’ve been here a number of times ... I love this place," Biden said when asked for his impression of the town. "Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?”
He was in New Hampshire.

Stay off the record

Daily Caller: "Climate Crusading Youngsters Erupt After DNC Officials Reject Global Warming Debate."
Symone Sanders, Biden’s senior adviser, was among those who urged the committee to vote down the debate, telling other officials at the conference that it would be “dangerous territory in the middle of a Democratic primary process.” Her comments contrast with those Biden made in June. He told a Greenpeace activist at the time: “I’m all in.”
Joe's strategy is to take both sides of every issue and hope nobody asks him a question.

No guns for you at Walmart

Business Insider: "I tried to buy a gun at Walmart twice, and roadblocks left me empty-handed both times."

Sometimes a piece of honest journalism is so refreshing.

I've seen this show before

Daily Caller: "Elizabeth Warren Kicks Off Policy Speech To Native Americans With An Apology: ‘I Am Sorry’"
“Now before I go any further, I want to say this. Like anyone who’s been honest with themselves, I know that I have made mistakes. I am very sorry for harm I have caused,” Warren remarked during the event. “I have listened and I have learned a lot, and I am grateful for the many conversations that we’ve had together.”
Do you know what you'll never - ever - never ever hear from Warren?

1) What mistakes she's made
2) What harm she's caused
3) What she's learned

She has thrown out this fake penitence for years now and every time she's asked about it we get vague responses like "I'm not part of a tribe" or "I'm not a person of color."  You'll never get her to admit that she only adopted her so-called heritage in her mid-30s when she just happened to be looking for a job.

Prove me wrong, mainstream media: let's hear what "mistakes" or "harm" Warren has caused.  She's practically inviting you to ask her.

Oh, I know how

In fact, I predicted it a long time ago.  Hot Air: "McDonald’s Just Opened A Restaurant With Almost No Workers. Guess How."  Soon you're going to have all the $15 minimum wage jobs that nobody will fill.

Don't do it, Joe

PJ Media: "Report: Obama Tried to Talk Biden out of Running for President."  "If there’s anything that we can gather from this story it’s that Obama really doesn’t think as highly of Joe Biden as Joe Biden wants us to believe."

Extra - Spectator: "Joe Biden isn’t ‘gaffe-prone’, he’s losing his mind."

The media is a joke

If you're wondering (yet again) why conservatives hate the media, look no further than the double standard of Politifact, the Democrat-protecting racket.  Vodkapundit: "Michael Brown PolitiFact Check: Murder Is What Democrats Say It Is, or Something."
When is it OK to call a not-murder a murder? When Democrats need it to call it one for political gain, if I'm reading PolitiFact's Louis Jacobson correctly.
This clown show has been going on for years but you'll rarely see an example where a news source will openly wonder: "who are we to say what words mean?"

The millionaire who hates billionaires

Our new feature: what did Joe Biden say today?

Bloomberg: "Biden Says He Was Vice President During the Parkland Shooting."
Joe Biden said he was vice president when the deadly high school shooting in Parkland, Florida, took place. Except, it happened in 2018, more than a year after he left office -- the latest gaffe by the Democratic presidential front-runner.

Biden told reporters in Iowa on Saturday that “those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president.” But when they visited Capitol Hill to talk with members of Congress, lawmakers were “basically cowering, not wanting to see them. They did not want to face it on camera.”
This is a wild piece of fiction.  Not only did Joe Biden comfort the Parkland kids, but those dastardly and cowardly Congressmen were turning them away.  But not brave Joe - that's not the Scranton style.

Joe Biden: the man, the myth, the time-travelling legend.

Daily question: what did Joe Biden say today?

Yesterday it was "Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids."
Also, he called British prime minister Teresa May "Margaret Thatcher"...again.

Today: "Biden Forcefully Grabs Girl After Being Asked How Many Genders There Are."

But he answered: "Joe Biden: There Are At Least Three Genders."

This is "corn dogs at the Iowa Fair" season.  What is Grandpa Joe going to do when we get to crunch time?

Sure, David, sure

David Axelrod at CNN: "Elizabeth Warren is running a brilliant campaign."
More than any other candidate, she has a clear, unambiguous message that is thoroughly integrated with her biography.
Are...are we watching the same person?  But do go on about her biography.  That's gold, Jerry!

Shakedown Joe

Powerline: "Biden's corruption problem." - "The Democrats have made feeble efforts, including the lame Emoluments Clause theory, to make an issue out of President Trump’s business dealings. It will be interesting to see how the very real corruption issues surrounding Joe Biden play out if Biden becomes the Democrats’ nominee."

The crisis around the corner. No not that one.

It was awful

Hot Air: "Debate Deflate Continues: Second Night Dropoff 40% From Previous Debate."

This article tries to do an autopsy and figure out why Americans tuned out.  Is it that everybody hates CNN?   Or could it be that the field of candidates is just too crowded.

I'll give you my two cents: people are sick of the rote regurgitation of talking points.  The DNC banned "raise your hand" questions for this debate after the first one caused embarrassing moments like every Democrat agreeing Americans should pay for illegals' health care.  The next debate should be nothing but raising hands.  Let's have a binary position on the issues instead of the word salads.
