What an interesting spectacle it would be to have Comrade building the wall, while at the same time Wall-z is providing the invading aliens 30-foot ladders to climb over it.
The border deal compromise (which candidate Trump then ordered the GOP to kill) included concessions from both parties. One of the Democratic tradeoffs was agreeing to minimal funding for "The Wall" to pacify some Republicans.
How minimal, you ask? No new wall-building money was included. Zero. Or nada, if you're Mexican.
The Dem/GOP compromise merely revived the lapsed timeline to spend any unspent funds that had originally been appropriated by Trump. That amount is just 3 percent of what he originally diverted. It was recouped in 2021 and returned to the government. It would have come back, but Trump preferred chaos until November. He didn't get that, either.
It's been widely reported that Texas Governor Greg Abbott wanted to bus thousands of undocumented migrants to Chicago immediately before the DNC Convention. But it didn't happen. He didn't have any to send. Because of Biden's success in driving down border crossings, Abbott's plan was foiled by the decline.
Funny postscript. Mexico didn't pay one peso to the Trump administration to build the incomplete pieces of his useless, porous $15 billion wall. The sporadic work that was done was exclusively paid for in U.S. dollars.
Thank you for confirming that Harris wants to build the Wall. One could get whiplash from her changing position, but it's comforting to know that her values haven't changed!
As an interesting side note, our border czar had no involvement in the months-long negotiations for the failed border bill she now yearns to sign.
Are Tampax Timmy's values also unchanged? Would he say of Comrade's wall, "I always say, let me know how high it is. If it's 25 feet, then I'll invest in the 30-foot-ladder factory."
