we all need to remeber that the sotu in question was delivered in january of '03, and that the congress authorized bush to attack saddam in october of 2002; therefore, EVEN IF bush exaggeated the nuke angle this could NOT have had any effect on his AUTHORITY to go to war, AND there were MANY other reasons saddam has to be taken out -- reasons which bush spelled out - IN DETAIL - in a speech to the UNGA in SEPTEMBER of 2002, BEFORE THE CONGRESS GAVE HIM AUTHORITY TO WAGE WAR AGAINST SADDAM!
in addition, the Act authorizing bush had MANY DETAILED reasons that saddam had to be taken out; it DID NOIT depend on the nuke claim.
ALSO: the brits still stand by the intel' which bush used in his 2003 SOTU. bush did NIOT mention Niger or use WIlson or the CIA to make a case that saddam was seeking to restart his nuke program.
in conclusion, one must conclude that what wilson chatrged was (a) false, and (b) IRRELEVANT!
so, why is the MSM and why are the DEMS and the Left making such a big deal out of it?
