That weird feeling you have is called "cognitive dissonance".

The "analysis" to which you linked makes you feel better. This is called "dissonance reduction".

The numbers peaked in October of 2009 and have been trending downward ever since.

When they were higher they were irrefutable evidence that Obama was the worst President ever. Now that they are lower they are just weird, man.

Any sign of recovery in an election year, however tepid and unimpressive, is obviously a Chicago-style scam!

Also, why do liberals root for America to fail?

I can't but wonder what old Nigel is going to do with himself after Romney wins this election. I suspect he'll take his 'insight' to one of those 'let's complain and despair ourselves into oblivion' sites.
