Cue the "malaise" speech - Red State: "We've reached the penultimate Jimmy Carter moment of the Obama presidency."  This crazy old democracy of ours is just ungovernable.

Actually, given that the last time we were told that the country was 'possibly ungovernable' WAS during the Carter debacle. If you read the linked post, a pertinent point is made(of course, you can always just put your fingers in your ears, or cover your eyes, if you choose):

"Turns out the Republic was just fine. It wasn’t that the Presidency was too big for one man. It was that the particular occupant of the office was too small for the job. When Reagan became President, the question was rendered moot."

Sounds familiar to me.

Yeah, that's a hell of a linked post. Ungovernability is a feature, not a bug, but nevertheless that bum Carter was too small, just like Obama because they are the super sucks. Really "pertinent."

What you call "sounds familiar," most people call "reheated leftovers."
