North to Alaska!

Reason: "A 135-Year-Old Maritime Law Is Stopping Cruise Ships From Returning to Alaska" - "President Biden signed a bill Monday that temporarily waives the regulation. Why not just repeal the law?"

Short version: Maritime law requires cruise ships to make at least one stop in a foreign country.  So if you take a cruise to Alaska, you're either going to depart from Vancouver or make a stop in Victoria.  But Canada was closing their ports due to covid and Congress passed a regulation waiver double-quick to get those cruise ships running again (both House and Senate passed on a voice vote).
