Americans earn yet another Nobel prize - What a week: first medicine, then physics, and chemistry today. Interesting twist on today’s award: Roger Kornberg’s father won the Nobel Prize in 1959, the sixth father-son combo in the prize’s history.

There was also a Mother/Father-daughter Combo. Marie Curie and Pierre Curie's daughter won in 1935 for the discovery of 13N, 30P, 27Si and 28Al... Why isn't this brought up? What is the significance of Father-son... it seems no different than mother-daughter, or Father-daughter (Both in this case).
