Selective labeling

Here's how the Washington Post tagged an opinion piece by Barack Obama:

The writer is president of the United States.
And here's how they tagged Sarah Palin's opinion piece today:

The writer, a Republican, is governor of Alaska.
Apparently one writer is motivated by politics. The other is awesome.

Republicans: Eternally the media's victim, and its master too. said...

Oh, cursed liberal media bias in my head! When will you stop biasing!

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of New Jersey.":

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of Arizona.":

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of New Mexico and a presidential candidate.":

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of Louisiana.":

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of California.":

"The writer, a Democrat, is governor of Maryland.":

Don't worry, man of us are here all the time. We are just laying low because it is summer time.

And I cannot believe that guy looked up all those articles.

Ti-i-i-ime is on my side. said...

Brian, here's the secret.

1. Go to Google.

2. Type "The writer, a Democrat, is governor" + "washingtonpost."

3. Results sometimes appear in under one hour!
