Why did Judith Miller stay in jail?

I think this NY Times article says it all:

Mr. Libby's side says he gave Ms. Miller unequivocal permission to testify about her conversations with Mr. Libby concerning his role, if any, in the disclosure of the identify of the officer, Valerie Wilson, also known as Valerie Plame.

In a letter from Mr. Libby to Ms. Miller this month, he expressed surprise that her lawyers had asked him to "repeat for you the waiver of confidentiality that I specifically gave to your counsel over a year ago." He added that he expected her testimony to help him.
Can’t have that!

Perhaps the concept that protecting sources is still important, even when both reporter and leaker are repellent hacks, is too much to accept. After all, this is the blogosphere: White House good... New York Times bad...

But she's not protecting a source, unless its someone other that Libby. The prosecutor knows who she talked to, Libby has testified as to the content of their conversation, and he released her from any confidentality agreement. She's wasn't protecting Scooter that's for sure.
