Of course, the crybabies in baseball claim different: “Baseball says NASCAR’s TV claims are off track”:
Break out the two-digit foam fingers and dueling "We're No. 2!" chants. Major League Baseball officials are beginning to dispute NASCAR's assertion that when it comes to television ratings, stock car racing takes a back seat only to the NFL.Well, sure, but how many viewers are tuned to baseball strictly as a sleep aid? Subtract those “viewers” and you’re down around WNBA ratings.

What, did you think that if you posted this article first, it'd be like the ugly guy who quickly makes the first joke about how ugly he is, so that way nobody can score points by saying, "Hey, you're ugly"? This article completely refutes NASCAR's sales pitch, without even dealing with the rest of baseball's other massive advantages.
Luckily, your position clearly isn't serious anymore. Insomnia jokes? I graciously accept your implicit concession.
And don't dis the WNBA. If you're into swallowing vacuous media puffery, you MUST also support the ladies. Besides, the increase in the WNBA's current "impressive, soaring TV ratings" is exactly in line with NASCAR's. By one narrow standard (and really, isn't that all a publicist needs?), the WNBA is the co-#2 sport in America! (Oh, I forgot, you don't "do" actual numbers during your baseball chatter.)
