Trump exonerated

Powerline: "The Mueller report: early returns"
One of the Democrats’ basic problems is that “attempting” to obstruct the investigation doesn’t make a lot of sense. If Trump had really wanted to obstruct the investigation, he could simply have terminated it. And Mueller acknowledges that the administration fully cooperated with the investigation in every way. So the “attempts to obstruct” come down to Trump expressing outrage at the fact that a baseless, partisan investigation was hampering his administration. Arguably Trump should have brought the Mueller farce to an end, but he didn’t.

Oh my God. Trump refused to sit for an interview. He said "I forget" in his written answers (written by somebody else) literally with greater frequency than declining Reagan's Iran-Contra testimony.

Full cooperation in every way? Heck, let's quote Mueller's report: "Acts directed at witnesses, including discouragement of cooperation with the government and suggestions of possible future pardons, occurr[ing] in public view." "Multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations." "[Evidence] indicates that the president intended to encourage Manafort not to cooperate with the government."

He's a crook. Don't be his moll.

Also known as 'refusing to participate in a trap / setup'. I don't know how old you are you little shit, but I remember a phrase from a long time ago - 'In Washington D.C. ruining people is considered sport'. Look it up sometime and gain a bit of perspective.

Better yet - go cry all fucking weekend in your soy latte that you didn't get the scalp you and the rest of you fellow leftist jagoffs have been braying about for over two years.

Now it's Trump's turn...

Someday, instead of having to settle for consoling his shattered psyche by pretending that Trump is a crook because he reached an agreement with Mueller to provide written answers (or that such an agreement is something other than "full cooperation"), the commi may be able to come here and proudly announce that the Mueller report shows that Trump colluded with Russia to corrupt the election. (Oh wait... He won't ever be able to announce that, will he? Heh.)

Bad, bad, bad day for the Trump bitches. (See previous.)

Mueller Report, Thursday:
The President also asked McGahn in the meeting why he had told Special Counsel’s Office investigators that the President had told him to have the Special Counsel removed. McGahn responded that he had to and that his conversations with the President were not protected by attorney-client privilege. The President then asked, “What about these notes? Why do you take notes? Lawyers don’ t take notes. I never had a lawyer who took notes.” McGahn responded that he keeps notes because he is a “real lawyer” and explained that notes create a record and are not a bad thing. The President said, “I’ve had a lot of great lawyers, like Roy Cohn. He did not take notes.”

The President of the United States, Friday:
Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed. Because I never….

...agreed to testify, it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total bullshit & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad). This was an Illegally Started Hoax that never should have happened, a…

(That’s where Trump’s Twitter feed left off three hours ago, perhaps from analeptic shock.)

TOTAL EXONERATION, EXCEPT FOR THE CRAZY BULLSHIT LIES!

If Trump's in a snit, you must acquit!

Someday, instead of having to settle for pretending anyone cares about his bombshell claim that "notes" make Trump look bad, the commi may be able to come here and proudly announce that the Mueller report concluded that Trump obstructed justice. (Oh wait... He won't ever be able to announce that, will he? Heh.)

Politico, delivering the ironic postscript to Trump’s full cooperation with the investigation in every way:
Trump complained that he was unable to push back on the claims made by his aides in Mueller’s report because of his decision not to sit down with Mueller in person.

Awww. And it was supposed to be such a good day for the Boss Baby. Sounds like the aftermath of No Collusion Collusion Delusion Blame It All On Fusion Screw The Constitution isn't turning out as planned. It’s not perfect for me, either - my schadenfreudemeter just exploded.

I just hope those huge job approval polling gains Trump has picked up since Honest Bill Barr's memo cleared him don't melt away... strike that, reverse it. That won't be a problem, because there weren't any!

But we mustn’t dwell on the past, worrying about who obstructed whom. Because this is what TOTAL EXONERATION! looks like today:
Reuters: Trump approval drops 3 points to 2019 low after release of Mueller report

Someday, instead of having to settle for hoping that polls will save him, the commi may be able to come here and proudly announce that the Mueller report actually found a speck of evidence for Trump/Russia collusion. (Oh wait... He won't ever be able to announce that, will he? Heh.)

Great suggestion, Robby. While we wait for someday to arrive, let’s concentrate on today and dive into the details of this hilarious new poll!

President Trump should NOT be impeached:
Mar 26: 49%
Apr 19: 42%

President Trump should resign:
Mar 26: 14% say yes
Apr 19: 22% say yes

(Clarification: that's 14% and 22% of Republicans who said yes. Overall, it's 47%.)

Regarding the Mueller report, have you learned anything so far that has changed your mind about the Trump campaign and/or Russia’s involvement in the presidential race? How did the report change your mind?

I am more likely to believe that President Trump or someone close to him broke the law
Mar 26: 49%
Apr 19: 68%

I am less likely to believe Trump broke the law:
Mar 26: 41%
Apr 19: 28%

Even though Democrats outpace Republicans in both voter registration numbers and in self-identification to pollsters, they were equally represented in both the March 26 and the April 19 polls.
