Betcha by YouTube, wow

In honor of the White House's "stylistic edits" of the Benghazi memo, here are the Stylistics:

Shouldn't that headline be "Betcha Benghazi, Wow"?

Since Rep. Issa and his colleagues voted to underfund embassy security funding, shouldn't their Philly Soul theme song be "Let The Sideshow Begin"?

Right, because we know from Obama's sequester hysteria that 100% funding is just right while 98% is chaos and Soylent Green.

Maybe after all those ignored security requests, the State department could have moved some Marines from the embassies in Rome or Paris.

In 2009, Rep. Issa & Co. voted to cut State Department funds including 300 diplomatic security jobs.

For 2011's continuing fiscal resolution, Issa & Co. voted to cut the State Dept's request for Worldwide Security Protection funding (WSP) by $70 million, and to cut embassy security by $204 million.

In fiscal 2012, Issa & Co. voted to cut another $145 million in WSP funding, and another $376 million in embassy security.

For fiscal 2013, the House voted to cut another $216 million from WSP.

Some of the above money was restored by the Senate, but most was cut. The Paul Ryan budget, passed by Issa and the House, would deduct another $400 million from embassy security.

Soylent sequester hysteria terror represents a $129 million cut on top of those previous cuts.

Yeah, I got it the first time.

There's nothing worse than rewriting someone's original words about Benghazi:

Oh, we're going to keep going? OK:

"In testimony Wednesday before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Charlene Lamb, a deputy assistant secretary of state for diplomatic security, was asked, “Was there any budget consideration and lack of budget which led you not to increase the number of people in the security force there?”

Lamb responded, “No, sir.”

Recall that Lamb is the person who denied requests from the top diplomatic security officer in Libya to retain a 16-man team of military personnel who had been protecting diplomats."

These are the lies that liberals tell themselves, right Barbara Boxer?

Benghazi is the key to GOP victory. If the eight or ninth approach to the scandal doesn't work, the twelfth or thirteenth surely will. Hillary probably has the smoking email edit sitting on her night table right now.

Benghazi is everything, and everything is new said...

Oh, we're going to keep going?

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57584947/wh-benghazi-emails-have-different-quotes-than-earlier-reported/

Republicans claim the administration watered down the facts in talking points given to U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for television appearances while Obama was running for re-election. Republicans on Capitol Hill claimed they found proof in White House emails that they leaked to reporters last week. It turns out some of the quotes were wrong.

Republicans have charged that the State Department under Hillary Clinton was trying to protect itself from criticism. The White House released the real emails late Wednesday. Here's what we found when we compared them to the quotes that had been provided by Republicans....

After the GOP's tactical edits and rewrites to the actual, not devious enough emails, the appropriate 70s Stylistics song is "You Make Me Feel Brand New."

This is sad: the "different" quotes you hang on to amount to a semicolon of difference. "Entities" that were referenced as the State department that were not specifically noted in ONE email were "altered."

Well good luck with that.

The White House has released all the emails that occurred 67 hours after the Benghazi movie review. I guess there's nothing of note within the first three days.

This isn't sad at all, it's delightful. Eight months of this, from Mitt Romney's hugely effective "apologizing for America" insta-press release, to Romney's self-immolation during the debate, to "Hillary signed the memos!", to Obama maybe possibly giving the order to stand down to avoid offending Muslims, to the "game changing" testimony of David Petraeus... no, the "game changing" testimony of Hillary Clinton... oops, the "game changing" testimony of Greg Hicks, to the "flying a F-16 overhead might have saved them" Rambo fantasy, to the mystery rewrites to the memos (P.S. These rewrites aren't mysterious enough; send more memos!), to "a coverup worse than Watergate, a crime worse than Iran-Contra!"

Meanwhile, the polls haven't moved an inch. Except for Hillary Clinton's approval rating, which is slightly up from last fall. And Obama's approval rating, which is 2 points higher now than it was on Election Day.

The GOP may as well refocus on the Vince Foster murder for all the good this is doing them. Maybe an F-16 could have saved him.
