Not a good day for doctors

CNN: "Third doctor charged over UK bomb plot"

MSNBC: An Ecuadorian doctor and his wife have been accused of stealing a twin and raising it as their own. Which would have worked except the twins ran into each other in a restaurant. Hmmm...you look familiar.

I'm presuming a trip from Australia to Bangalore would take at least a couple of days, if not more. Therefore, it would be interesting to know if Haneef advised the hospital at which he was employed that he'd be out of the country and out of physical contact for a while. Or, did he just grab a one-way flight the day *after* the failed bombing coincidentally?

And why, if he was returning, did he buy what was probably the most expensive ticket available -- a one-way day of purchase (or previous day, possibly) ticket? It would have been much cheaper to buy a round-trip ticket a month before (had he planned on going) and even dropping the second leg might have saved money.

I smell fish.
