Our friends, the Saudis?

I started to write an angry screed about the sub-humans who murdered Paul Johnson and the complicity of the Saudis, when I saw this breaking story: “Saudi Al Qaeda Leader Killed

Abdulaziz al-Moqrin is at the top of the list of suspects in Saudi Arabia and is believed to be the leader of the group calling itself Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which claimed responsibility for the beheading of American hostage Paul M. Johnson Jr.
Will this (finally) mark a turning point in terms of Saudi cooperation in the War On Terrorism? It’s a good start.

Unfortunately, no: this is not the beginning of Saudi Arabia's awakening to the danger of terrorism. The Saudi royal family is knee deep in al Qaida. I'm sure they killed these terrorists to cover up their own involvement.

I can appreciate the sentiments of the previous commentor. SA has a penchant for denying access to prisoners for interrogation by the FBI. It seems they either get away, are tried and executed very quickly, or killed such as this last case. Maybe the stats don't support my feeling. Anyway, it is mighty convenient that this one was found and killed so quickly after the beheading.
