Kerry Vote Watch

I used to call John Kerry “Senator Splunge” because he refuses to take a clear stand on any issue (I’m for the war – no, against it – wait!). Now I’m going to call him “Senator AWOL” since he’s all but given up on his Senate duties.

Same ‘ol same ‘ol: The Senate had a four-day workweek last week and Kerry didn’t work one, missing all 15 floor votes cast. One amendment sponsored by Maria Cantwell (D-WA) failed by a 48-50 vote; the two missing votes were Kerry and Kennedy.
