Dog bites man alert: Democrats don’t like Bush

This New York Times article is laughable in thesis and execution: “Disdain for Bush simmers in Democratic Strongholds.” Who’da thunk it?! Journalist Robin Toner notes: “But the anger is broader now…and the candidates are increasingly responding to it, Democratic strategists say.”

Any polls or statistics to back up that claim, Robin? “One way to measure it is by what generates applause on the campaign trail these days.” Ah, I see. Perhaps another gauge is the proliferation of brain-dead newspaper commentaries, crying out for a righteous Fisking.
