Get woke, go broke

Hot Air: "Evergreen State College Warns Of 18% Drop In Enrollment Next Year."

LA Times: "NFL ratings finish regular season down about 10% from last year."

Ace: "Ratings for NBC's Olympics Continue to Stink on Ice."

On this last point, I don't actually believe it's so much politics as NBC's execrable coverage and the slooooow pace:
And then there are days like Monday. The complete list of medal events that day amounted to team ski jumping, 500-meter speedskating and two-man bobsled. That was it. Not a single medal was awarded before 9:53 p.m.
The slim pickings were symptomatic of a larger problem with the Winter Olympics: They’re way too long.
Just show the biathlon.

It's not so much the politics with the lower NFL ratings, either. But where's the fun in that?

It also won't be so much the politics with next month's liberal pussy hat MeToo Oscars.

And it won't even be so much the politics with this November's Election Night coverage.

The viewer shares for the previous five Super Bowls were 77, 77, 79, 79 and 79. This year was 78. That fits in pretty nicely. And yet the total average of viewers was down by 8 million people.

Same share, yet fewer eyeballs? How can this be?

If you see what's happening with TV viewership every day on every channel, it's not a hard math problem to crack. One big drawback: the solution leaves a lot of empty space on America's conservative blogs.

Prediction: this upcoming Oscars will be the lowest ratings ever. Lower than when Hattie McDaniel won and TV ratings were already pretty low.

Neither the ratings nor the South shall rise again said...

Rhett Butler never should have taken a knee.

I laughed. Then I tried to think of a good "kneel for the Cross" pun but I couldn't.
