Denmark imposes a 180% tax on combustion-engine cars (not a typo) and now they've phased out government subsidies for electric vehicles: "Denmark is killing Tesla."
I met somebody in Copenhagen on a business trip and she mordantly joked that when you buy a car in Denmark, you buy another one for the government.
