Always loved this song

Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat" - with lyric subtitles!

Side note: I was at a piano bar at Walt Disney World a couple years back and I asked for this song (which may be a little obscure) but one of the guys played the opening part and I was mightily impressed.  Unfortunately, they didn't know the whole thing so I think they moved on to "Sweet Caroline" or something.

I must be getting old if The Year of the Cat is now obscure. I have always liked Al Stewart's music. He must have been a history major in college who couldn't get a job. He has a song about WW II on the eastern front--referring at one point to burning German Tiger tanks; another song about Lord Grenville who was an English Admiral; one about the Spanish Civil war"on The Border" and so on. Good music with interesting subjects.
