Interesting. Boston.com still claims the Census will be left to the purvey of Commerce. It was my understanding that that was supposed to change, and that the count itself was being changed to sampling instead...??
I imagine that if they have a Dem in charge of Commerce they won't bother to move it. The sampling thing is hard to say. If they try it, I'm certain that it will end up in court, since the Constitution specifies an actual count.
I think I'd rather have John Locke in charge rather than Gary.
