Dear Susan: I'm so glad we did everything legal-like

Federalist: "Obama, Biden Oval Office Meeting On January 5 Was Key To Entire Anti-Trump Operation" - "Susan Rice's bizarre Inauguration Day email about that meeting helps explain the campaign of leaks, lies, and obstruction that followed."

Obama had a meeting today, too.

WASHINGTON — Former President Barack Obama, talking privately to former members of his administration, said Friday that the “rule of law is at risk” in the wake of what he called an unprecedented move by the Justice Department to drop charges against former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

In the same chat, a tape of which was obtained by Yahoo News, Obama also lashed out at the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic as “an absolute chaotic disaster.”

“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn. And the fact that there is there is no precedent that anybody can find for somebody who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”

“This election that's coming up on every level is so important because — what we’re going to be battling is not just a particular individual or a political party. What we’re fighting against is these long-term trends of being selfish, being tribal, being divided, and seeing others as an enemy — that has become a stronger impulse in American life. And by the way, we’re seeing that internationally as well. It’s part of the reason why the response to this global crisis has been so anemic and spotty. It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mindset — of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’—when that mindset is operationalized in our government."

William Barr is having meetings too, and I'm sure his upcoming indictments will re-establish our basic understanding of the rule of law.

AMERICA - Flynn’s case was dropped after it was revealed that Obama officials in the FBI had set up a perjury trap for him in order to get him fired as a Trump adviser. Obama officials also withheld exculpatory evidence, and launched and carried out an investigation (which included surveillance of Flynn and other Trump associates) over bogus claims of Russian collusion despite having no empirical evidence of that collusion. Declassified documents also showed that Obama was aware of the bogus investigation and efforts to railroad Michael Flynn. As Attorney General Barr noted, the FBI had no justifiable reason for questioning Flynn in the first place, since, as the incoming national security adviser it was well within standard practice for him to be having conversations with foreign ambassadors, such as Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak.

So, why make such an absurd statement to alumni of his administration? Perhaps Obama’s pep talk was really designed to keep the old troops in line, as some are perhaps going to have to start answering questions about their involvement in illicit affairs connected to the scandal? The origins of the bogus Russia investigation by the Obama administration is currently under investigation by U.S. Attorney John Dunham, and many predict that the investigation will result in indictments. Some former officials from the Obama administration may end up seeing justice, and perhaps Obama knows it’s coming.

There's a rumor going around D.C. today that William Barr asked Barack Obama 'not to travel out of the country'. I'm sure there's nothing to it...

perjury trap... bogus... bogus... railroad... absurd... pep talk... perhaps... bogus... many predict... may end up... perhaps... a rumor going around...

Sounds solid!

But after Biden is forced out of the nomination, and after Obama is sent to prison, what will be your next sweaty fantasy to jerk yourselves off to?

Better whack it fast, though. Any bogus bogus perhaps perhaps legal proceeding that William Barr begins will be dropped in January 2021 by Attorney General Ocasio-Cortez.

Even Putin is having meetings these days.

I guess it's time for a new collusion investigation.

That may end up perhaps being a conceivable possibility. Or not.
