I doubt if anyone with a lick of sense would have expected the old harridan to leave anyone anything. She was probably pissed to find out she really couldn't take it with her.
Considering the actions of some rich heirs lately (coughParisHiltoncough), giving the money to a dog would be a better investment.
And it's not like ALL the money went to the dog. A few heirs did receive $5 million; only two received nothing. And for all we know there are good reasons why.

My dog is better than most of my family members so I kind of understand. Her money, her decision.
Well, if she was called after the female animal whose name rhymes with rich, why would she not identify with that species?
