Campus news

George Mason University decided not to spend $35,000 in Virginia’s state funds and cancelled a speech by Richard Perle. Result: the Phi Beta Kappa honor society pulled out of a proposal to open a chapter at GMU citing concerns about “academic freedom.”

Whoops! Did I say Richard Perle. I meant Michael Moore. But I’m sure the exact same concerns would have been raised for a conservative speaker.
