Born under a bad song

The other day while listening to my beloved satellite radio, the Sixties channel was counting down the top 6 hits from February 1968; in fact, the very week I was born. So the #1 song in America on that auspicious day was "Love is Blue" by Paul Mauriat. Here's how Billboard describes the song: "Love is Blue" by Paul Mauriat is the only American number one single to originate in France." Oh the shame.
