But he won the debates (whimper)

In the recent presidential campaign, spending by the Democrats and Republicans was almost equivalent not counting the considerable and enthusiastic assistance John Kerry received from George Soros and the Media Fund, MoveOn, and the MSM. The problem for Kerry was that even with that pile of cash, he still couldn’t formulate a ideology to motivate voters. As Thomas on Red State put it so eloquently: “All the money in the world won't save you if voters can smell the slop from the cheap seats.”
