Follow up: Are the terrorists and their state-supporters getting the message? Oh yes they are:

Terrorist attacks decreased sharply worldwide in 2002 to their lowest level since 1969, the State Department's annual report released yesterday shows, and Secretary of State Colin Powell hailed the war on terrorism for foiling the deadly plots.

Extra follow up: Dean Esmay also took note of the terrorism report:

Guess what? Strong action by the U.S. over the last year hasn't resulted in more terrorism. It's resulted in less.
Will anyone draw a lesson from this, do you think?
