Hooters is suing Ker’s WingHouse for “trade dress infringement” because they dress up their well-endowed waitresses in small T-shirts. This Opinion Journal article – “Stop of Owl Sue” – pushes the boundaries of good euphemism, but also contains the greatest legal defense ever:
The complaint, filed in an Orlando federal court, alleges that itsy T-shirted waitresses at Ker's WingHouse present "unfair competition" to Hooters girls, known for their inspiring presentation of otherwise ordinary menu items. Ker's filed for dismissal this week, maintaining that sex appeal predates Hooters.In the words of Marv Albert: “Yes!”
