Here's an unintentionally revealing paragraph from a Fox News story on the Democrats debate tonight:
Although they are united in their criticism of Bush's economic policies, the candidates have sparred over whether to repeal Bush's tax cuts, the best plan to provide health care for the uninsured and how to lead the military and build international relationships after the Iraq war.The debate isn't being broadcast live, but I'm willing to wager that none of the viable candidates (Sharpton will say anything) puts forth a clear plan on economic, health, or defense policy. It's all left-leaning muddle to the left until the nomination then run to the middle. "Muddle, then middle" - I like that.
