This is the jillioneth opinion piece on Social Security I've read that advocates for the exact same solution: let somebody else pay for it. It's always about raising the tax cap while means-testing benefits. There is absolutely no understanding of the program or imagination for solutions other than taxing the rich.

Where would you like to imagine the money coming from? Either taxes get raised or benefits get cut unless you have a way to clone 50 million 18 year old humans and put them to work in jobs that don't exist.
Social Security is (supposed to be) a universal program. FICA taxes should go up for everybody coupled with benefit cuts.
