This past weekend, a bunch of environmentalists had a demonstration on the steps of Springfield City Hall, here in the Happy Valley of Massachusetts. Exactly nobody showed up to watch their puppet show:
The event drew a half dozen members of the local press, but no one else. No supporters, no detractors. Other than one woman who paused momentarily while walking her dog, the event did not attract a single spectator.Well, that's one way to minimize your carbon footprint.
