Sartorial sports survey

GQ has released a list of the 25 Best and 5 Worst Sports Uniforms of all time. Would you believe that the New York Yankees invented pinstripes in an attempt to cover up Babe Ruth’s girth?

God, will this false story ever go away.

For the record, the Yankees actually had pinstripes for several years before Babe Ruth became a Yankee.

And no, the babe was not sold by the red sox so the owner could come up with money for a play. The play in referance wouldn't even be released for several more years.
