The media: Always so fearsomely powerful, always so laughably at death's door!
Fun Fact: Since Rupert Murdoch bought the New York Post almost 50 years ago and changed it into a conservative tabloid, the newspaper has made an annual profit just once. The Post has also had waves of employee layoffs. Gosh!
Two days ago, the chair of Oklahoma's Republican Party submitted a bill that would require all journalists to be licensed by the state, carry one million dollars of liability insurance, submit to 4 drug tests a year, and take mandatory PragerU courses in being “propaganda-free.”
The bill is titled The Common Sense Freedom of Press Control Act.
Republicans want "controlled freedom."
Similarly unconstitutional bills have been proposed or passed in South Carolina, Indiana and Florida. You'll never guess by which party!

Sports Illustrated just fired its entire staff today.
Jeepers, it must be because of the public's growing distrust of sports coverage.
The Left hates free speech, a continuing series
