He's just really, really bad at his job

Legal Insurrection: "House Republicans Publish DHS Sec. Mayorkas Impeachment Articles."

Here we go in the new era of tit-for-tat impeachments.  I side with Jonathan Turley here:
“We know over the last, unfortunately, a number of years, impeachment is for treason or bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors,” Steve Doocy started the interview before asking, “Does Mr. Mayorkas, has he done any of those things yet?”

” I don’t think they have established any of those bases for impeachment,” Turley replied. “The fact is, impeachment is not for being a bad cabinet member or even a bad person. It is a very narrow standard.”

He then explained how the framers of the Constitution rejected terms like “maladministration” to avoid this very thing. “Past Congresses have recognized that there’s a danger to this once you cross the Rubicon and start to remove cabinet members because they’re not doing a good job.”
As Antonin Scalia was wont to say: if you don't like the direction of the government, there are legal and Constitutional remedies at hand.  In the case of homeland security, that solution is tough border security legislation and/or voting out the Administration that refuses to control the border.

Impeach Biden, and impeach Mayorkas, and impeach Garland, and impeach Wray, and impeach Commander the dog.

It ain't gonna normalize the process, or make the circumstances Trump's January 6 impeachment fade away. Nor will it undo Trump's January 6 trial.

But what else can Johnson and the Jerk-Offs do? The House GOP has ceased governing for fear of Trump's wrath. And of being primaried by the crazypants caucus.

The institutional Republican Party could have easily kicked Trump to the curb and gone back to "regular old 80's Republicanism." And they would have beaten Biden if they did. But they didn't. Because they love authoritarianism and bigotry even more than low taxes.

Is there a museum or zoo that can one visit to view the last living Reagan Republican?

What would have led Biden to lose to them?
