They thought this was a funny sketch

NY Post: "Cecily Strong was ‘uncomfortable’ as Stefanik in ‘SNL’ antisemitism sketch and backed out at last minute."

Like somebody noted: they wrote this, rehearsed it, and decided to open the show with this travesty.

Hollywood in Toto and the New York Post and Viking Pundit went ahead and posted their own communal travesty about the "one-sided" comedy sketch. You should have followed Cecily String's lead, and sat this one out.

SNL objectively wrote a crappy sketch. (Listen to the multiple dead spots in the audience reaction, not to the "anti-woke" idiot blogs.)

You guys non-objectively spotted who the targets of the mockery were, identifying just 1 out of 4.

Today's New York Post article, however, is a humor gem. It refers to "the heavily criticized cold-open sketch" with a hyperlink. The hyperlink takes you to the source of the cited criticism... the previous day's New York Post.

Conservative is to comedy as heat is to snow. We didn't need yet another example.

It looks like Elise Stefanik is also uncomfortable being Elise Stefanik:
