Ace: "NYT: Elizabeth Warren Stands By Her DNA Test. But Everyone Else Think She's an Stupid Old Prune-Idiot Sourcrotch." He then quips: "Not fully the original headline."
To quote Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose: it's too late to turn back now. Warren went all-in on her 1/1024 heritage and it's impossible for her to backtrack and hand Trump a yuuuge victory.

Trump on Coming Debt Crisis: ‘I Won’t Be Here’ When It Blows Up
Since the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump’s aides and advisers have tried to convince him of the importance of tackling the national debt.
Sources close to the president say he has repeatedly shrugged it off, implying that he doesn’t have to worry about the money owed to America’s creditors—currently about $21 trillion—because he won’t be around to shoulder the blame when it becomes even more untenable.
The friction came to a head in early 2017 when senior officials offered Trump charts and graphics laying out the numbers and showing a “hockey stick” spike in the national debt in the not-too-distant future. In response, Trump noted that the data suggested the debt would reach a critical mass only after his possible second term in office.
“Yeah, but I won’t be here,” the president bluntly said, according to a source who was in the room when Trump made this comment.

"I can't come up with a single thing I'd dare say to defend the DNA follies of my preferred 2020 candidate, but this post's attack on her must be countered! Wait... I know - I'll simply segue imperceptibly to an unrelated attack on Trump, and no one will notice that I've changed the subject. How do I come up with these brainstorms?"
"Sources"--Yes, the little man who lives next to the little man in his pants.
That first comment gave me whiplash.
They say the best way to ward off seasickness is to ignore the ocean and focus your gaze on a single, distant, stationary object. And it works! Just ask a Republican.
Does Elizabeth "Woo Woo" Warren's head feather help you forget about how badly you rubes have been played by Paul Ryan and Co. on the debt issue?
Do Nancy Pelosi's liberal wrinkles successfully distract you from the fact the the U.S. government just officially called your president a criminal?
Will the next tweet by new monster Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sweep away the unpleasant thoughts of the other 235 House seats you don't have, or what they're going to do with them starting 4 weeks from yesterday?
Minutia, gentlemen. You’re only distracting yourselves.
Break your addiction to stupid shiny objects, and you can begin the hard work of repairing your party.
"I've been parasitically attached to this blog for years now, and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated that I haven't succeeded in either vanquishing it or remaking it in my own image. Are fellow liberals who visit here beginning to see me as incompetent and ineffective?"
Anyone who proposes that liberals are "becoming increasingly frustrated" in December 2018 is obviously a shrewd person without a trace of insincerity or desperation.
Oh, man. Against all odds, I can only hope and pray that 2019 will be a little better for our side than this awful, awful year turned out to be.
Me: "The Monitor is increasingly frustrated that his endless years of opposition on this blog have achieved nothing."
Monitor: "No! Liberals are obviously not at all frustrated with the political developments of 2018."
This is the tactic of "I'll pretend I didn't see the plain meaning of the comment I responded to, so I can hope I'm also making others not see it."
This is the tactic of "I'll pretend I didn't see the plain meaning of the comment I responded to, so I can hope I'm also making others not see it."
"Dear Diary™," I just read a damning accusation of avoidance from the dummy who "can't possibly respond™" to a small sampling of his side's poor perspective in obsessing about insignificant self-distractions. But because that sampling "must be countered™," he wrote instead, "Ha ha, guess what "Monitor™," you can't change my mind so you lose!"
You actually feel that Elizabeth Warren is more troublesome to you than Paul Ryan was. And that's why you'll always be the guy in 'Animal House' with his pants around his ankles, getting paddled while grunting, "Thank you Sir, may I have another?"
When it amuses me to do so, I wield a paddle.
But don't spend a moment on self-reflection, Robert-Roger. You are NOT alone!
Media Matters on the blatant GOP election fraud in North Carolina:
Fox & Friends first reported on the story for less than 30 seconds, claiming that “ballots may have been illegally collected” without making it clear which party’s candidate is facing allegations. The hosts then pivoted to yet another story on incoming freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Annnnd...
Washington Post:
The White House is adopting what one official termed a "shrugged shoulders" strategy for the Mueller findings, calculating that most GOP base voters will believe whatever the president tells them to believe.
Based on this message board that I've incompetently failed to conquer, that's a very safe bet.
The above three-comment frenzy that occupied two hours of the Hall Monitor's obsession to compose and publish, is the tactic of "If I screech enough, I don't have to see myself as accomplishing nothing."
Everything Robert-Roger Fisk posts: "Thank you, Sir, may I have another?"
Business Week political reporter Joshua Green attended last night's GOP emoluments event at Trump Hotel DC.
He reported that the Republican crowd was far less chatty about the Trump-Pelosi-Schumer smackdown than would have been expected. Instead, most were fixated on the party's #1 preoccupation: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
