Noose reporting

I got a chuckle out of this.  My9NJ: "Only 19 Paterson students ready for college"
“These kids who are now seniors have gone through seven superintendents in their tenor at Paterson public schools and with every administration change, there's a reworking of what the schools are supposed to be doing,” she said.
"Tenure."  But wait...there's more!
However, the Paterson school district said that they no longer use SAT scores to gauge students' success.
Yeah, I'll bet.

How long until grades or behavior won't be used to measure a student's success in NJ? For administrators, attendance is what matters most since proof of butts in seats = more tax dollars allocated to the school.
"I don't know why Jah-Nay can't read or do basic math; he shows 75% attendance rate through all 14 years of school, so he should've learned that by now. Somehow, Republicans are to blame."
