Hillary Clinton has an interview in the Atlantic and she wants to make it clear that "‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ is not an organizing principle." So the distancing has begun for the former Secretary of State.

Clinton: "“The failure to help build up a credible fighting force of the people who were the originators of the protests against Assad—there were Islamists, there were secularists, there was everything in the middle—the failure to do that left a big vacuum, which the jihadists have now filled."
Those would be the same jihadists who are today driving the U.S. tanks and shooting the U.S. guns that they took from the last credible fighting force we built up.
