Stocks are hot, Democrats are not

Via Fox News: “Stocks rise amid strong manufacturing data

Stocks rose Monday, with the Standard & Poor's 500 index hitting an 18-month high, after a report showed U.S. factories steaming ahead in November at their quickest pace since 1983 and amid growing hopes for a robust holiday shopping season.

In response, Presidential hopeful John Kerry has criticized the improving economy as a scheme cooked up by the Republicans (via Right Wing News):

Boston — At a Beacon Hill press conference this morning, Democrat presidential candidate John Kerry denounced the robust American economy as a Republican dirty trick.

Meanwhile, in New York, Paul Krugman wore out his backspace key while preparing his Tuesday column.
