Can you attend to the city of Los Angeles?
What are you doing on national news shows?
Unless you're running for President, we don't see the purpose. Use your time instead to fill our potholes, deal with the city's crime, get the… https://t.co/eNOKaHyZxP
The car won't run so they're replacing the floor mats
NY Sun: "The Democrats in Crisis Mull a Mini-Convention - The party grasps for gimmicks instead of reversing the leftward policy lurch that is disenchanting voters."
It’s hard to find fault with the Democrats’ idea of holding a so-called “Mini Convention” ahead of the Midterms. After all, we’d likely do the same thing if we lacked for, say, a popular platform on which to run. At a time when the Democrats are “hemorrhaging voters,” as the Times reports, though, it seems as if the party is grasping for gimmicks instead of reversing the leftward policy lurch that is disenchanting voters.
It's remarkable how the Democrats have become captured by their liberal orthodoxy. Even they know their positions are unpopular and, hence, the non-stop parade of platitudes ("we need to fight!") serving Trump hatred and little else.

Do you know why JD Vance will be the next President? This is why.
Red State: "JD Vance, White House Take Politico Reporter to Task Over Latest Hit Job on a Member of Trump Team."
Republicans are done with pretending that the mainstream media is a fair arbiter of public opinion. They are not. Trump and Vance have figured this out. Just take a look at Vance's dress-down of Margaret Brennan at the VP debate.
Detroit's past and New York's future
City Journal: "Chicago Is on the Verge of Fiscal Collapse - A new Illinois law has put the Windy City’s already-underfunded pensions on even shakier ground."
Just a little reminder: "Even 5 years later, retirees feel the effects of Detroit's bankruptcy."
Junk bond status, here we come Chicago!
So he did what Hillary did
Legal Insurrection: "Sources: John Bolton Sent Classified Emails on Private Server, Intercepted by Hostile Nation - The sources said the investigation picked up steam during the Biden administration which was when intelligence agents learned that another country had obtained Bolton’s emails."
It's OK because he wiped the server...with a cloth.
Circumventing the biased mainstream media

A discreet silence
Powerline: "A disgraceful vigil."
Every time there's a mass shooting, the Democrats rush to gun control but can never articulate what exactly that means. Let's start with Chuck Schumer's security detail and the let him walk around D.C.

Slow news day
When I was in high school, I regularly benched 200+ lbs. Today I was at Planet Fitness and decided to see if I could bench the 135 lbs. that Mamdani struggled with at a New York street event.
Um...I couldn't do it. To be fair: "Take on Me" was a big hit when I was in high school.

A pyromaniac in a field of straw men
A professor from Villanova traveled to Colonial Williamsburg and he wants to shoehorn some anti-Trump rhetoric into his trip report: "MAGA has emptied ‘America’ of meaning"
Why, then, do his loyalists consider themselves some of the most patriotic Americans ever? How could it be that this voting bloc — one that decries a free press as the enemy of the people, that doesn’t respect election results, and that believes the president should have unlimited power — truly believes itself to be carrying forth the legacy of our freedom-loving, press-protecting, tyrant-mocking ancestors?
None of this is true and/or there are countervailing arguments on the other side. There are legitimate complaints that could be made about the MAGA movement but the Left always resorts to - what's the word? - lying.
I don't think MAGA considers the free press the "enemy of the people" but I do believe they regard it as hopelessly biased and worthy of criticism. There's not a single MAGA person who wants to get rid of Fox News but they also don't want to pay for NPR. Do you see the distinction here, Brandon? And I don't even know where you got this "unlimited power" nonsense. Just completely made up.
Not a good move
Reason: "Trump's Executive Order Prohibiting Flag Burning Is Unconstitutional" - "The president is the last person who should confuse protected speech with incitement to violence." Ouch.

Chuck Todd is a clown
Why is this guy still punishing us with his useless, hypocritical opinion since he got shit-canned from "Meet the Press." Just go away, already.
Twitchy: "Chuck Todd: Don't Make Democrats Live by Their Own Lawfare Rules." Too late, Chucky - these are the rules you guys made and now you're going to live by them.

No margaritas in Uganda
NY Post: "Kilmar Abrego Garcia to be deported after refusing plea offer." - "Immigration officials said they intend to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda, after he declined an offer to be sent to Costa Rica in exchange for remaining in jail and pleading guilty to human smuggling charges, according to a Saturday court filing."
He got his due process. Happy now, libs?

"Your sign is getting attention"
It's amazing to think that at no point during the creation and display of this sign, nobody told this demented old lady that it might be a bad idea: "So This Sweet Little Old Lady Had Sign at a Rally in Virginia Yesterday."
Update - Virginia Democrats release a statement of regret.

Democrats enter the death spiral stage
Swirling away: "'Death Cycle': Dem Bleedout Is Real -- And Spectacular."
This references an expansive New York Times article about how Americans are running away from the Democrat Party. They have lost voters in every state that records party registration:
The stampede away from the Democratic Party is occurring in battleground states, the bluest states and the reddest states, too, according to a new analysis of voter registration data by The New York Times. The analysis used voter registration data compiled by L2, a nonpartisan data firm.Few measurements reflect the luster of a political party’s brand more clearly than the choice by voters to identify with it — whether they register on a clipboard in a supermarket parking lot, at the Department of Motor Vehicles or in the comfort of their own home. And fewer and fewer Americans are choosing to be Democrats.
One data point that was AH-MAY-ZING was that the Democrats' advantage in Pennsylvania is virtually wiped out. If Pennsylvania turns into a reliable Red State like Ohio, it's going to be huge for Republicans in Presidential elections.
Anyway: go Bernie and Mamdani!
Democrats, please listen to this man! https://t.co/np6KmXCse3
