I forget where I saw it but somebody in the entertainment industry predicted Kimmel's return and said the pain of low ratings is just slightly less than continuing the controversy and dealing with potential legal action.
At this point, what I would love more than anything is to see Ted Cruz or Scott Jennings as a guest on Kimmel's show to ask him exactly what he meant by his original statement. It'll never happen but a boy can dream.
