Fox News: "Jimmy Kimmel is on the fast train to Keith Olbermann-style oblivion - Late-night host reportedly turned down bosses' request to apologize for on-air comments about Charlie Kirk case."

There was a rumor that ABC was trying to compromise with Kimmel to bring him back but I don't believe it for a second.  I think Disney/ABC/affiliates understand how toxic he is now.  They'll make some pro forma comments about reconciliation but they're not going to bring him back because, as I said before, his ego will never allow it.
