As the peacemakers JD Vance and Elon Musk idly wonder out loud why no one’s tried to kill Kamala Harris yet. "They" are not raising the temperature, mind you. “They” are just curious.

Your party sells and buys those hilarious oversized car decals depicting President Biden (and lately, Kamala Harris) as helpless hostages lying sideways in the trunk while bound and gagged. Trump has shared the adorable image on his social media.
Donald Trump falsely says the election was stolen. Donald Trump falsely says Harris is “the enemy within.” Donald Trump falsely says Democrats are murdering live newborn babies.
Again, this is much too easy.
Two weeks ago at one of his rallies, a supporter tried to attack the press. Watching the physical struggle unfold, Trump told the crowd, “Beautiful. That’s beautiful. That’s all right, he’s on our side. We get a little, ehhh, itchy, don’t we?”
So take your “Merciful heavens, have the decency to please tone down the rhetoric” gaslighting and rhetorically shove it up your ass.

In 2017, the Secret Service showed new president Donald Trump how photographers could shoot long-range pictures of him while he golfed. The Secret Service warned him that an assassin could kill him the same way. Trump insisted that his properties were safe and kept playing. Trump's golf habit at his semi-public courses has put his life at risk for many years. Weeks after an assassination attempt, he pushed his luck again.
President Biden's actions saved Donald Trump's life.

Because my recollection is that when crazy people try to kill politicians, we need to check that box off first.
Donald Trump has “joked” several times about the man who broke into Nancy Pelosi's home. Here's Trump from last weekend:
“Nancy Pelosi has a big wall wrapped around her house. Of course it didn't help too much with the problem she had, did it?”
The reason that Nancy Pelosi’s home was broken into, and the reason why 82-year-old Paul Pelosi was hit in the head with a hammer, is because of Donald Trump’s violence-inducing rhetoric that the election was stolen.
My goodness, such a frantic screed, and at 2:38 AM, no less. It sounds as if you can feel something slipping through your fingers.
Were you able to get to sleep after that nonsensical stem-winder?

Since Trump is the politician who has actually, you know, ummm, faced two assassination attempts, wouldn't it make more sense to examine the Democrats who have called for Trump to have a "bullseye" placed on him and to be "eliminated"?
