Boycotting Chick-Fil-A for anti-gay marriage funding was another classic example of liberal "economic terrorism." But campaigns organizing conservatives to punish Target for supporting gay marriage equality, and again for its bathroom policy, are fitting retaliation against a company for "blatantly undermining my values."
Then there was JC Penney, and Disney, Lowe's, Starbucks, Heinz, Best Buy, Pay Pal, General Mills, Home Depot, GM, Facebook... wonder if those will be in Strassel's book? And woe unto any company who insults its customers by saying "Happy holidays."
There was even an effort to boycott Ebony Magazine in 2013 for running four Trayvon Martin variant covers. To which the magazine publicly responded, "We have so many Tea Party readers and followers. To lose all zero of them due to our September cover would be devastating."
