The religion of environmentalism

George Will: "The Keystone catechism".  "Obama revealed his economic sophistication years ago when he said that ATMs and airport ticket kiosks cost jobs. He does not understand that, outside of government, which is all that he knows or respects, all jobs are “temporary.”"

By a 2-1 margin, Americans want the Keystone pipeline constructed.  Are we going to get 42,000 "temporary" jobs or will Tom Steyer's money carry the day?

By a 2-to-1 margin, Americans say global warming is real, and is caused by man.

By a 3-to-1 margin, Americans want the government to take action to reduce the income gap between the rich and the rest. And also to raise the minimum wage.

By a 4-to-1 margin, Americans want the Social Security income cap raised, and benefits increased.

I like those polls that say people want more money from somebody else. Who knew?

The polls I disagree with are fundamentally flawed. The rest of the polls are a guidepost to our future. With a margin of error of because.

Well, the first step towards reform is admitting you have a problem.

Good on you.
