Hippies in a snit - insurance clipped by nitwit

Ricochet: "Obama voters learn the hard way"...that there's no free Obamacare lunch.
Massive governmental interference creates unintended consequences? Get out!
So far, there are scarce intended consequences.

Oh, God, no! Not two more! That makes, what, 50 personal tales? A hundred?

After so many of the individual Obamacare tragedies have disintegrated upon further review, are you really still falling for this? Or are you just a cheerfully cynical fan of the bullsh*t infopipe?

If you want to keep your health plan....tough said...

Next week: "What, 10 million policies dropped? A tiny sliver of the population!"

This is just the independent market. Wait until employer plans get hit: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57611192/how-obamacare-will-change-employer-provided-insurance/

When this approximates the upcoming reality...

...then you fight with anecdotes. Because anecdotes are all you got.

First of all, as if I have to belabor this point, the anecdotes I cite are funny because they're from Daily Kos-types who have suddenly discovered they have to pay more. As one bewildered youngster said: "I was for Obamacare before I found out I had to pay for it!"

Second, the insouciance of the Obamacare apologists is demonstrative. Yeah, there are some "losers" who lost their policies but, hey, you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette. Tough luck, folks.

Finally, I saw that TPM chart. I also saw this response from Megan McArdle: "I was going to write a piece about this silly graph that has been making the rounds, purporting to show that only a few people stand to lose from Obamacare." As the CBS News story also noted, the individual market is the prelude.

But, you know, eggs.
