Auto-debt - It's not just General Motors racking up debt: "Saab produced $2 billion in unpaid bills."

Uh, Saab was owned and badly mismanaged by GM until their own bankruptcy. By the time they spun off Saab, it had no chance of sustaining itself as an independent company - too much debt and almost no new products in the pipeline.

The Swedish government declined to bail them out.
