Personally, I thought it was scathingly brilliant to punt the political football forward three months. The coming bankruptcy will occur on solidly Democrat turf - DC, Michigan, and Detroit all under Democrat control.

I thought there was no appetite for the initial bailout. The next bailout likely won't be the last, either.

Yes, a scathingly brilliant move. And a chronological line in the sand that will absolve the GOP.

But just so we're clear on this, the Sept. 11 attacks, North Korea getting the bomb, the recessions, the mortgage crisis, and the last two seasons of "Heroes" are still Bill Clinton's fault.
