Well, when you have no discernible sense of humor (yes, I'm looking at *YOU* lefty moonbats) then you only 'get the joke' when it is at the expense of your opponents.

I find today's Left to be just as humorless as those Puritan *ssholes on the right in the 60s and 70s. Take themselves waaaaaaaay too seriously, they do, and they want us to be just as miserable as they are. Or ELSE, Mister!!

"Now, nobody likes a good laugh more than I do. Except perhaps my wife, and some of her friends. Oh, yes, and Captain Johnson. Come to think of it, most people like a good laugh more than I do."

Quick quiz. Name the top 5 or 10 conservative comedians. Today, or ever, or whatever.

Dennis Miller? P.J. O'Rourke? The list is unbelievably pathetic. Bob Hope wouldn't count because the content of his act was leftist.

This is an argument you really should blunder your way out of. Even putting the 0.005% shrill P.C. radicals on the left front and center, comparing left-right humorlessness is like putting Kate Moss and Kirstie Alley on a see-saw.
