Now that Communism has been utterly discredited as a working mode of government, let's say a silent prayer for the 100 million victims of the Socialism/Communism experiment from Russia to China to Tanzania and continuing into North Korea and Cuba.
The best book on the subject is Joshua Muravchik's "Heaven on Earth: The Rise and Fall of Socialism" - a blistering indictment of the men who were so incensed that some could have more than others, they decided to make everybody equally miserable.
